Waste Gas Treatment Towers
Waste Gas Treatment Towers (JYC-WGT-Series)
Built for Cleaning Electroplating Workshop Exhaust
Electroplating, anodizing, and chemical etching processes produce acid gases (HCl mist, sulfuric acid mist, nitric acid mist), alkaline gases (ammonia), and chrome-containing gases. Our Waste Gas Treatment Towers are designed to purify these gases. We use spray packed tower structures. Purification efficiency exceeds 95%. Treated emission concentrations are low: HCl mist under 5 mg/m³, sulfuric acid mist under 3 mg/m³. These figures are far better than GB 16297-1996 and EU Directive 2010/75/EU. Airflow capacity ranges from 1,000 to 100,000 m³/h. We also provide turnkey services from duct design, fan selection, stack height calculation to environmental compliance verification.

Materials and Construction for Corrosion Resistance

The tower body uses reinforced PP or FRP fiberglass. Thickness is 8 to 15 mm. It resists acids, alkalis, and aging. Internal packing uses Pall rings or Taylor rings made of PP or PE. Specific surface area exceeds 200 m²/m³. The spray system uses 316L stainless steel nozzles. These are clog-resistant. Three-stage spray plus mist eliminator layer are used. Liquid-to-gas ratio is 1.5 to 3.0 L/m³. The circulation water tank has an automatic dosing system. pH controllers regulate alkali or oxidant addition.
Three Core Advantages
First, purification efficiency is high.
For HCl mist, single-stage spray absorption efficiency reaches 90%. Two stages in series increase this to over 98%. For nitrogen oxides, we add reducing agent spray. Removal rate is 80% to 90%.
Second, pressure drop is low and energy consumption is low.
Tower pressure drop is only 500 to 800 Pa. Supporting fan energy consumption is 15% to 20% lower than traditional towers.
Third, control is intelligent.
PLC automatically controls circulation pump start/stop, pH adjustment (automatic alkali addition), and liquid level alarms. Optional online emission monitoring connects directly to environmental protection bureau platforms.
What Buyers Often Ask
Buyers ask us: "Electroplating requires environmental impact assessment approval. Can you ensure we pass?" Yes. Exit gas velocity is 1.0 to 1.5 m/s. This meets GB 37822-2019 for fugitive VOC emissions. For chromic acid mist, we provide dedicated recovery towers. These have mesh mist eliminators and recovery tanks. Chromic acid recovery rate exceeds 95%. We ensure customers pass environmental impact assessments.
