It achieves zinc-nickel co-deposition in an alkaline non-cyanide system. Nickel content is controlled at 12% to 15%. We optimized barrel conductivity and agitation. This solves the industry problem of low or uneven nickel content on barrel-plated parts. Neutral salt spray tests reach 600 to 800 hours. Materials and Construction for Uniform Deposition

We use fully immersed V-shaped polypropylene barrels. These come with large cross-section cathode copper bars and multi-point contact conductive systems. Every small part gets sufficient current density. To overcome slow solution exchange inside the barrel, we add internal circulation spray systems and forced pump agitation. The solution composition stays uniform. Nickel content deviation is controlled within ±1.0%.

Three Core Advantages

First, composition is monitored dynamically.

An online XRF analyzer monitors zinc, nickel ion, and additive ratios in real time. It triggers dosing pumps automatically. Nickel ion concentration stays stable at 5 to 7 g/L.

 

Second, the design is low-hydrogen embrittlement.

The bath is specially optimized. Internal stress is under 40 MPa. This is suitable for high-strength small parts with hardness over HV 350. No hydrogen-induced delayed fracture concerns.

 

Third, automatic loading and unloading is available.

We include automatic feeders, high-speed centrifugal dewatering machines, and automatic discharge hoppers. Manual labor is greatly reduced. Parts do not get bumped or damaged.
